2017/02/07: Welcoming Ms. Zhou Wei from City University of Hong Kong

Ms. Zhou Wei from City University of Hong Kong joined the department as a special research student.
She will stay in the department until the end of July to study neutronics at Iwasaki Laboratory and Hashizume-Yusa-Ito Laboratory.

2016/05/25: Welcoming Mr. Wiliam D. Magwood

Mr. Wiliam D. Magwood, The Director-General of OECD/NEA, visited the department to exchange views for future nuclear energy utilization. A meeting with students and young professors in the department was organized; the meeting was followed by a lecture titled "Looking Forward: Nuclear Energy Issues and Opportunities" by Mr. Magwood.

2016/04/27: Visiting City University of Hong Kong

The office visited City University of Hong Kong, and introduced the Department of Quantum Science and Energy Engineering. The office discussed possibilities of collaborations in education and research with members of Nuclear and Risk Engineering Program to agree further discussion on the exchanges of students and researchers.

2016/01/06-08: Delegates of Thai Nuclear Society visited QSE

It is our great pleaure to welcome delegates from Thai Nuclear Society, Dr. Chainarong Cherdchu (The president of Thai Nuclear Society), Dr. Sunchai Nilswankosit (The head of Department of Nuclear Engineering, Chulalongkorn University), Dr. Thawatchai Onjun (Sirindhorn International Institute of Technology, Thammasat University), to the department of Quantum Science and Energy Engineering in order to discuss the possibility of further collaboration between Thai Nuclear Society and the department.
